Sharon Gabay — portrait and headshot photographer

For executives and professionals

Professional Headshots in Israel

Headshots and business portraits — in the professional studio, or with a mobile studio that comes to your office in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and nationwide. A photograph that shows who you are, not just what you look like.

The approach

More than a headshot

Most headshots look the same: a face against a grey backdrop. The approach here is different — years of work that draws out what can’t be posed, and builds a photograph that tells your story. A good headshot isn’t documentation; it’s a picture that has you in it.

The work has been shown at the UN headquarters in New York, the U.S. Congress in Washington and the Israeli Knesset, alongside six published photography books. Over the years hundreds of people have been photographed in the studio — Nobel laureates, mayors, authors, journalists and public figures. That same attention to face, expression and light stands behind every business headshot.

Two ways to shoot

In the studio, or we come to you

Studio or mobile — nationwide

Shoot in the fully-equipped professional studio, or have a full mobile studio come to your office — Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, or anywhere in Israel. The lighting setup is identical either way; no one leaves the building.

Directed from start to finish

You are guided through every frame — posture, angle, expression and wardrobe — so you never have to work out what to do in front of the camera. Most people arrive certain they photograph badly, and leave with images they actually use.

Credibility that reassures

Author of six photography books; work shown at the UN in New York, the U.S. Congress and the Knesset. Hundreds of public figures, executives and professionals have been photographed in Sharon Gabay's studio.

The process

From first message to finished photos

Simple and easy — all you need to do is pick a date.

  1. 01

    A quick call

We start with a short call: what the photo is for, the style you want, and how many people. We pick a date and place — the studio, or your office.

  2. 02

    The shoot

In the studio, or with a full mobile studio that comes to you and sets up in minutes. The session is fully directed from start to finish — posture, angle and expression.

  3. 03

    Selection & retouching

We choose the best frames together, and each one is professionally retouched — clean and flattering, without turning you into someone else. You also receive all the raw files.

The Transformation

Before & After — the result speaks for itself

Many people arrive nervous about the camera — “I'm not photogenic.” That's exactly where Sharon comes in: direction, posing and lighting that bring out everyone's best version. Before and after a professional headshot — the result speaks for itself.

Q&A

Professional headshots in Israel — FAQ

Do you offer headshots in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem?
Yes. You can shoot in the professional studio, or a full mobile studio comes to your office in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, or anywhere in Israel and sets up in minutes — with the same quality as the studio. There's no need to travel to a fixed location.
How much does a professional headshot cost in Israel?
Pricing is by package: Basic from ₪1,250, Standard from ₪1,850 and Premium from ₪2,600 in the studio (before VAT); on-site at your office costs more. The full price list is on the pricing page.
Can you photograph our whole team or company?
Yes, but that is a different service with its own page — see corporate headshots for photo days, organizational sets and per-person pricing.
Do you work with English-speaking clients?
Absolutely — a large share of the work is with executives, olim, diplomats and international teams based in Israel. The whole session is directed, so even people who dislike being photographed walk away with a strong result.
What's the difference between a headshot and a business portrait?
A headshot is a head-and-shoulders image for a profile or website; a business portrait is wider, with body language and presence, used for marketing and press. It's usually smartest to shoot both in one session.
How soon do I receive the photos?
Your selected photos are delivered after professional retouching. The exact timeline is agreed during the planning call before the shoot, so you know what to expect.
How much difference does a professional headshot make versus a regular photo?
The difference is dramatic. In a regular photo the lighting and angle are random; in a professional headshot Sharon controls the lighting, posing and expression, producing a credible, flattering business portrait that still looks natural. The before-and-after comparisons on this page show the gap on the same person.
What is the difference between a professional headshot and a selfie?
A selfie is shot on a close lens that distorts the face, under random light. A professional headshot uses the right lens, studio lighting and direction, so the result is a sharp, balanced, dignified business portrait — right for LinkedIn, your website and the press.
Do I need experience in front of the camera to look good?
No. Most people arrive with no experience and a fear of the camera. Sharon guides you step by step — pose, angle and expression — throughout the shoot, so even people who feel they aren't photogenic walk away with a flattering image portrait. The result speaks for itself.
